Education is at the heart of everything I do.
I have spent much of my career teaching in many capacities. From drumlines, percussion ensembles, and wind ensembles, to beginner strings, high school orchestra, youth orchestra, and beyond, education has been at the heart of virtually everything I have done.
I am passionate about sharing what I have learned in my career and would love to work with you and your students. The high school orchestra ensembles I directly taught, have earned both Excellent and Superior ratings in the Texas UIL Concert & Sightreading assessment, and consistently received positive feedback related to their expressive performances on stage and in the sightreading room.
The East Texas Youth Orchestra consistently performs at a high level including repertoire such as Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4, the Finale of Shostakovich Symphony No. 5, Nimrod from Elgar’s Enigma Variations, and much more.
I am passionate about sharing what I have learned and look forward to the opportunity to share this with you and your students. Get in touch with me to find out more.
